These terms govern your use of the CHeKT Developer Platform — the APIs, webhooks, CLI, MCP server, and any client libraries we publish.
Who these terms apply to
These terms apply to anyone using the CHeKT Developer Platform, including developers building CHeKT Apps, partners running Platform Linking integrations, and operators using the Operator CLI or MCP server.
Acceptable use
You may use the platform to build and operate legitimate integrations. You may not:
- Use CHeKT to surveil, harass, or violate the rights of any person.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to bypass authentication or rate limits.
- Resell access to the API without a partner agreement.
- Run automated tests against production that could affect real monitoring.
- Use the platform for any illegal activity in your jurisdiction.
Data ownership
You own the data your CHeKT App reads, writes, or generates on behalf of a dealer. CHeKT owns the platform itself, including the API, SDKs, dealer portal, and any aggregated, de-identified usage metrics.
SLAs
Uptime SLAs apply to paid plans. The current SLAs are documented at /pricing. Credits for SLA breaches are described in the full terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes — anything affecting your rights or obligations — are announced at least 30 days in advance via email and on this page. Minor clarifications are made silently and noted in the "Last updated" date.
